"The Last Night's Show" ("O Espectáculo d'Ontem")

 

"The Last Night's Show" are Mr. Eduardo Raon and Mr. Joaquim de Brito. They are long time accomplices and with a broad curriculum that ranges from Contemporary Classical to World music, from Rock to Improvised; they have shared countless stages and studio sessions as well as the authorship of soundtracks for animation, documentaries and advertising.

'SONG' is the place that "Last Night's Show" calls home. Via the velveted deep voice of Mr. Joaquim and the sometimes majestic sometimes delicate harp of Mr. Raon, "Last Night's Show" rewrites the 'SONG' form by subverting some of the most characteristic common places of it's themes, lyrics' style or performance. The obvious becomes suggestive, the sarcastic sincere, the naif post-modern, the gloomy blossoming cheerful and the ephemeral classic.
